Gen 2 overlander tent. Now for the not so good. Has anyone recently installed the smittybilt src roof rack specifically on a jku. Other reviews seem good so maybe i just got unlucky but the lack of quality and the fact that the issues weren t caught by the quality control inspection just doesn t sit well with me.

All the reviews i can find on it are from 2010 11 and i m just curious if quality control has improved at all most reviews are 1 2 stars and extreme haters of smittybilt. Smittybilt get the original. Admittedly it has created some increased wind noise which was to be expected and there are a few creaks starting to pop up now that we ve incurred some more miles on it. Off roaders looking for ultimate versatility and longevity in rooftop storage need to consider a smittybilt roof rack.
